Acceptance of university-level scientific research project: Research on manufacturing mannequins according to the body size of female students at HaUI, applying pattern design in garment

On March 31st, 2021, Hanoi University of Industry held an acceptance test of the university-level scientific research project "Research on manufacturing mannequins according to the body size of female students at HaUI, applying pattern design in garment”. MA. Nguyen Van Du - Faculty of Garment Technology and Fashion Design is the Project Manager.

Mannequins for garment design and prototyping play a very important role in contributing to product quality assurance. The topic has developed a process for producing mannequins with the suitable shape and size for the anthropometric characteristics of the upper body of a typical female student at Hanoi University of Industry. The mannequins ensure the requirements and functions of the designed mannequins in apparel.
The Acceptance Council evaluated the topic as having a practical application, ensuring economic and social goals and contributing to training. The obtained results can be used as a learning tool at training institutes of Garment Technology, Fashion Design and fashion garment manufacturing companies. The Council unanimously accepted the topic and suggested the research team complete it to put it into practice.
